• at least 3 years of experience in a similar position in finance, accounting or controlling in a multichannel environment • comprehensive knowledge of the retail business (preferably Austrian retail market) and its core stakeholders • knowledge of IKEA, its Brand identity, Culture & Values • a good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their wide ranging application in business context • advanced knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders • good knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools; and how to integrate them • fluent in English, German is beneficial
Common assignments associated with being part of the Country Management Team: • Be an active member in the country management team contributing with business insight and functional expertise in order to secure the overall performance of the country • Actively engage with the delivery of the IKEA sustainability strategy to enable the ongoing transformation and growth of the IKEA business. • Embrace the digital transformation in the market and be an ambassador in the function • Represent the Retail country as a spokesperson and external representative for all IKEA entities within the designated area of responsibility
Assignments specific to the role: • Optimize profitable growth, low cost, and the value of IKEA assets in accordance with our IKEA Retail direction • Lead the IKEA Retail Business Plan process together, while securing alignment with the Country Penetration Plan. Lead the financial business plan process under the frame of the IKEA Financial strategy • Lead with business opportunities in the forefront and secure that we invest to meet the needs of our customers. Evaluate and prioritize investments supporting both growth and cost reduction that deliver value in reality, balancing returns and risks. • Secure reliable and timely financial, management and tax reporting, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards. • Secure compliance throughout our business and rules and lead the development of a broad and proactive risk management approach that supports the country strategic direction and safeguard co-workers, visitors and assets

In this role you will be part of the IKEA Austria Management Team steering business and people. Together with a great team of 5 Leaders, directly reporting to you and more than 20 Co-workers you will be responsible for shaping the future growth of IKEA and leading the financial agenda to reach our goal becoming number 1 home furnishing retailer in Austria.

For this fulltime position we offer you a yearly gross salary starting from € 108.430 (on fulltime base with an ALL-IN contractual agreement). We are willing to pay more depending on experience and qualification.
