Construction Project Manager

As a Construction Project Manager, you will initiate, plan, execute, organize, and manage constructions and infrastructure improvement projects. Take full responsibility of the project and deliver agreed result according to purpose, goals, scope and budget of the project. Collaboration with stakeholders will be important to secure a successful delivery of the project.

•You have a completed degree in architect, engineer, or equivalent further education with a federal Diploma.
•You have several years of experience from leading construction and investment projects in all aspects from specifying, planning, executing and follow-up.
•You have strong knowledge of local and national authority permission process regarding design and construction activities throughout the project development, included the knowledge of processes, ways of working and rules.
•You have a strong drive for build trust and relations with various stakeholders as well as excellent organizational and time-management skills.
•You have good knowledge in MS Office and are familiar with construction/ project management software.
•You have a high degree of mobility, personal responsibility, negotiating skills and assertiveness.
•You are fluent in English and German both written and verbal.


•Lead and manage all construction aspects of a specific building project from start to finish to secure delivery of a safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solution based on business needs.
•Participate in the development and contribute to how to intervene with designers and contractors in the projects in order to continuously find cost-effective and innovative project implementations.
•Work and engage closely with Procurement to identify best for IKEA procurement strategies. Work and engage closely with Engineering to optimize, innovate and develop the best for project methods for design-construct interaction.
•Ensure that external partners have up-to-date awareness and understanding of all Construction frameworks, guidelines and initiatives issued by Ingka Real Estate
•Secure that procurement, contractors, permits, budgets and cost follow up are in place for the project and provide technical and cost input to internal partners in the project process.
•Ensure satisfactory hand-over of completed areas for retail build-up in accordance with an agreed schedule and scope.
•Ensure satisfactory commissioning, testing, training and hand-over of technical and building systems to the building facilities co-workers, including the provision of all necessary documentation.
