Stellenbeschreibung

Why we will love you

Hej there! Are you someone who's excited about the shopping centre (or as we like to call them, ‘meeting places’) industry and wants to be a part of changing it for the better? At Ingka Centres, we're on that journey, and we're looking for someone like you to join us!

We are going to the heart of Paris, by joining us you will be part of a unique and memorable Meeting Place experience. If you are motivated by finding the problem, diagnose and fix it while focusing on detail, driving for results and live with IKEA culture & values - this could be an opportunity for you!

You are experienced in helping businesses or organizations plan, organize, and manage their costs and expenditures effectively. You have high sensitivity to cost control, which means you can help keep our expenses in check and know how important it is to stay within budget and always look for ways to save without sacrificing quality or efficiency.

Another thing you are great at is construction procurement. You have extensive knowledge of procurement procedures regarding construction activities within a project, including the local construction market. This means you can help us find the best contractors and suppliers for the project, while making sure we’re getting the best value.

Furthermore, you are experienced in the areas of claim for compensation, restitution, and repayment for any loss or damage, and have expertise navigating the legal processes to ensure that, when needed, we get the best possible outcome.

Lastly, you are skilled in planning and measuring financial records in compliance with internal and external regulations. You make sure everything is in order and that we are getting the best value possible. You are dedicated to helping achieve business objectives and long-term profitable growth, and always look for ways to improve the financial performance.

Does this sound like you? If you are fluent in both English and French languages, have a strong background in project cost management, investment analysis, and finance, and if you enjoy working collaboratively with others, then we want to hear from you!

As a Project Controller, collaborating with IKEA Retail, the INGKA Group and external contractors, you will deliver the needs of customers and local communities within the locations they operate. In this role, you will be the link between our various domains, Real Estate, and other key stakeholders to ensure that our projects run according to budget. You'll be responsible for managing cash flow, coordinating with the finance division, and consolidating all financial information needed for investment analysis and KPI calculations in our feasibility model.

You will be expected to perform project scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk and opportunity evaluations. You'll also manage the Cost Follow Up reporting and conduct cost analyses for the entire investment across all Cost Groups. If the budget is likely to be exceeded, you'll work with the project team to suggest savings.

In addition, you'll manage the end-to-end procurement/tendering process within the project, coordinate the change orders/claims management process, and advise on vendors' claims and dispute resolution. You'll work closely with the design team to help establish project budgets, cross-checking with ICC projects, and establishing cost estimates.

Additionally, you will:

• Prepare and finalize the Final Accounts, establish Cost Data for future developments as well as compile and document cost control related project files, including ICC forms, etc.
• Create procedures, where they currently don’t exist, and enforce them for the booking of financial commitments and processing supplier payments.
• Interface and become familiar with the software systems used by Ingka to run a development project. For example, book project commitments and process payments etc.
• Direct contact and coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders on issues related to the financial control of the project.
• Provide ad-hoc reports from time to time when they are needed to support specific project topics.
• Contribute to the learnings and library of best practices which arise during the project.

In this role you will report into our Project Development Manager and be based in 30 av. D’Italie in Paris, France.
