The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.
Responsible for placing of all local infrastructure, such as PC:s, printers, peripheral equipment and video etc at all end users disposal.
Order and manage end user hardware.
Responsible for maintaining of clients, profiles, installations, licenses etc.
Responsible for adding, maintaining and delete of accesses.
Responsible for all contacts with IKEA helpdesk, secure incident follow up, security updates, and operation meetings.
Participate in meetings containing need of IT support/technician.
Others ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager.
Knowledge of the End User needs.
Knowledge of client hardware, software and network.
Knowledge in relevant tools and how to use them in an appropriate way according to working routines.
Good in writing and speaking English.
