We are looking for a Data Management Leader to lead data governance and data activation for IKEA Portugal. You understand data quality and accuracy are the foundation for a data-driven organization and you are passionate about activating data to improve our business. You may be working in data management, are a part of a data-driven marketing team, or similar related to working with data for a retail organisation. You are ready to take the lead and become a driver of data literacy for IKEA Portugal. You will work closely with our GDPR leader and other data professionals.
You are a structured, present leader, who engages and challenges our colleagues. You are a collaborator, who enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders from our stores, remote customer meeting point and global organization. You are a good communicator, curious and passionate about peoples homes and how data could support at better life at home.
We would also like you to be experienced in and/or familiar with:
• A change agent who knows how to demonstrate the value of Data Governance, and build organizational understanding of the area. • Understand how data quality, data lifecycle processes, etc. impacts business performance and drive implementation of activities based on our systems. • Experienced in developing communication and training materials and training people in Data Governance and Data Activation. • Identify where data activation presents the biggest business opportunities and work with local and global stakeholders to start or continue activation. • Pragmatic with a “can do” attitude and known for the ability to make things happen. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
A day in your life with us
• Lead the data governance and activation forum within the country as well as facilitate communities and workshops, for selected areas. • Represent IKEA Portugal in the global organization ensuing the country's view is addressed in policies and processes. • Prep the digital leadership to drive the country's data agenda across in their sub functions. • Contribute functional expertise to IKEA Portugal roadmap and action plans. • Build data activation capabilities at all levels of IKEA Portugal.
Together as a team
In this role, you will be part of the Portuguese Digital function who consists of 19 people, and you will report to the Digital Country Manager. You will work closely with a five-person leadership team to drive the digitalization of IKEA Portugal.
