IKEA Business Regional Manager (Urals Region)

​• Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial role  
​• Previous successful experience of establishing new processes and ways of working 
​• Minimum 7 years of experience within commercial area of retail industry (preferably home furnishing industry) with proven results 
​• Previous successful experience of working in multicultural environment including leading remote teams 
​• Fluent in English, both written and spoken 
​• Previous successful experience of negotiating complex issues and ability to handle conflcts of interest with senor stakeholders 
​• Strong knowledge of strategy development, i.e. how to set direction, create and manage long-term plans, set budgets and goals, and follow up on KPIs 
​• Strong knowledge of partnership development, i.e. how to identify, build and maintain trustful relationships with partners both internally and externally in a responsible way, by selling and sharing an idea to collaborate around 
​• Strong knowledge of industry trends, outlooks and emerging, legislations, requirements and compliance standards in key customer segments  
​• Strong project management knowledge on how to drive from the beginning till the end technologies to achieve organisational goals and objectives 
​• Strong knowledge of stakeholder and conflict management principles 
​• Broad knowledge of key account management and active selling 
​• Broad knowledge of the mechanisms to activate sales and the use of the commercial calendar and relevant associated activities 
​• Broad knowledge of how to identify and realise opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling and up-selling to fulfill customer needs


​• Overall responsible for long-term Regional IKEA Business strategy supporting Business Plan development and execution in all markets within entrusted region (insights of business customer needs, competitors’ analyses, SWOT analyses of the market) 
​• Take responsibility and be accountable for regional IKEA Business commercial result and profitability, set sales, customer KPI and track performance to ensure performance excellence throughout the year 
​• Act as a member of several market management teams within entrusted region and proactively contribute with expertise and IKEA Business strategic priorities to Market plans/outputs in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals, and to ensure coordination and alignment of regional development strategies 
​• Communicate strategic direction and Action plan to IKEA Business market teams within the entrusted region and ensure high quality follow up of the set goals and actions in order to ensure outcomes are met 
​• Steer operational excellence and encourage innovative thinking and entrepreneurship approach among IKEA Business  market teams within the entrusted region to ensure seamless and coherent customer experience across channels and different markets 
​• Actively drive acquisition of new business customers through all existing regional touchpoints and build up long-term relationships with key accounts in entrusted region to support business growth  
​• Ensure collaboration with Customer Fulfilment in order to secure proper and timely planning and execution of the orders thus ensuring customer satisfaction 
​• Ensure collaboration with Regional Service Business team in order to identify the service offer development potential required by the IKEA Business customers and to develop competitive Service Price and convenience ladder in entrusted region 
​• Together with the Regional Marketing team develop the Marketing, PR & Communications strategy and CRM (customer relationship management) plan for B2B (business-to business) segment to ensure that IKEA is positioned as the partner for IKEA Business 
​• Be responsible for the definition of recruitment needs and standards, securing the right level of competence development, individual goal setting and follow-up of IKEA Business team in the entrusted region, to ensure the required number of IKEA Business co-workers is in place and to secure succession contributing to the succession pool on the country level   
​• ​Be an active player in working on sustainability initiatives within selling thus ensuring sustainability priorities are reflected across offering
