The product stack we are building is used by many users in IKEA to identify potential fraud anomalies and patterns in various areas. By automating the evaluation and reporting of associated fraud anomalies through data we will have greater visibility of frequency and types of fraud, in addition to reducing the investigation time. We support our Safety and Security co-workers in identifying and selecting “abnormal” case samples to review, and as a result streamline approach across countries

As a lead developer, you will be part of a cross-functional product team with an agile mindset and ways of working. You will develop, maintain, support, and enhance the Risk Analytics product

Your skills include:

§ Over 10 years of development experience in which more than 6 years is as a solution architect, lead developer or similar

§ Experience in product delivery or project management is an added advantage

§ In-depth, hands-on experience in full stack development, preferably with Python and JS frameworks like Vue.js and Node.js. Should be able to lead/help in any layer of the stack.

§ Strong experience in developing and/or maintaining products developed on cloud technologies, preferably GCP

§ Experience in data modeling & different data base stacks is a plus

§ Strong experience in developing microservices based system, preferably in Python and APIs

§ Strong core software design principles with a proven track record of development/code experience

§ Experience in agile development methodologies

§ Strong Experience in implementing CI/CD practices using infrastructure-as-a-code, preferably using CloudBuild and Terraform

§ Excellent communication skills, organizational and leadership qualities which will be key to contribute towards our strategic direction

Your responsibilities will include:

§ Lead a cross-functional team of developers, UX designer, data engineers and data scientists to deliver quality product

§ Contribute heavily in leading the documentation effort to build the knowledge base and relevant product documentation

§ Continuously renew & improve the product and engineering practices by bringing in new ideas as part of your research about current and emerging technologies

§ Responsible for the solution design and architecture

§ Work closely with UX and front-end developers to translate wireframes into product workflows & solution architecture

§ Work in close collaboration with engineers, business stakeholders, product owner/specialist and other teams to enable functional capabilities, comply with standards/policies, establish operational stability, and maintain a productive relationship

§ Strongly and actively contribute to the product roadmap
