We are looking for someone to join us in our journey to build up our IT Service Management-capability in ServiceNow and establish it as part of our shared digital foundation for Inter IKEA Group. With your peers, you will develop a modern IT Service Management capability and supporting technology landscape that will embrace transparency, agility and end-to-end business value at its heart. You have a passion for enabling business in creating a better everyday life for the ‘many people’ by ensuring an efficient and user-centric way for delivering IT services across IKEA. 

In this assignment, you will be accountable for ServiceNow as a shared platform utilized across our organisation. You will work in close collaboration with Digital Product Leaders (Product Owners) who are responsible for different products within the platform e.g Service Management, IT Operations Management, IT Asset Management, HR. 

About you 

You are experienced in ServiceNow. You are ready to work both individually and together with our new leadership team in Shared Data and Technology. You can embrace this global working environment and the opportunities that this can bring.  You have the experience to own a platform, build a vision, drive a roadmap, and deliver value for Service Management, business, and other key business areas. 

You will work close with business stakeholders and networks such as Enterprise Architecture to build the platform strategy and you will be accountable to set the operation and governance model. 
We believe you are a strong leader able to inspire and mobilize people towards clearly set objectives. You have a strategic mind and are passionate about IT Service Management as a business enabler. 

You must have; 

  • Deep experience with managing development and operations of ServiceNow platform in a Platform Manager / Owner role with experience that includes ITSM, ITOM, ITAM products. Knowledge and experience of ITBM and DevOps products is an advantage. 

  • We are looking for a visionary, pragmatic and adaptable senior leader with strong willpower. You are curious and able to build trustful relationships and networks with stakeholders, business partners and franchisees. You have the capability to navigate and lead business and people in a complex, ambiguous and fast-changing business and technology environment. You have a strong ability to translate business needs into innovative platform solutions and experience with agile development methods is a plus.  

  • To make IT Service Management at Inter IKEA Group even better, we need to engage with 3rd party partners.  

  • You have a multi-year experience with managing externally sourced platform teams in a global organization. You have deep knowledge in frameworks such as ITIL4, SAFe (or similar), SRE and have ability to transform frameworks into practice. 

  • Good English language skills with the ability to cater to non-native audiences

This role is full time and based in Malmo or Delft.  In this role you will report to Group Service Management & Operations Manager and work closely with the IT Service Management network of expertise as well as other stakeholders across Inter IKEA Group digital to lead towards uniformity and commonality. You will empower talents in your own area by securing a competent and high performing team. You will enable movements by bringing people on the journey in a step by step approach.
