You know how to implement long-term plans based on budgets and goals and co-create strong working relationships with your colleagues to ensure a healthy, safe and compliant workplace. You have experience in aspects such as evaluating, encouraging and guaranteeing the performance of your colleagues in relation to organizational and individual goals. You know how to develop leadership skills and abilities to deliver on our customer promise.

You achieve goals, complete tasks and get results. You know how to work independently, take your own initiatives and take responsibility. You effectively express your ideas and opinions in verbal and written communication and are able to interact and engage naturally with managers and colleagues.
You demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the IKEA company identity, core values and the vision to create a better daily life for many people.


In this role, you will work in several business units and distribute your time and presence between them. Language skills and flexibility during local business hours are a requirement (FR-NL-EN).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

In the role of HR BP, you will accompany the managers and employees of your unit to be able to deliver results and create an excellent customer experience. You will bring expertise in people and culture and ensure that strategies in these areas are put into practice.

You will need to:

• Perform local tasks according to common HR processes and annual cycles ensuring excellent work experience.
• Support the recruitment and integration of the right talent with the right contracts in close collaboration with the Market Area and People & Culture Delivery team.
• Support the strengthening of business skills, leadership capabilities and performance by setting relevant goals and providing learning and training with the Market Area team.
• Secure engagement and retention by understanding working conditions across all functions and acting in collaboration with the Employee Experience team.
• Contributes to administrative processes and ensures coordination between several national and regional support teams, and acts as an interlocutor for external partners and authorities.
• Act as a local HR point of contact by helping colleagues and managers answer questions and daily challenges related to employees.
• Ensure that communication with local employers is consistent, well perceived and based on the IKEA brand.
• Implement a labour relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with colleagues and ensures that all areas of the unit adhere to labour relations principles and comply with local policies, procedures and laws.
In this role, you will report to an HR manager in your unit.

Als je in deze rol bij ons aan de slag gaat dan kan je o.a. het volgende van ons verwachten:
• Een voltijds contract (36u/week) van onbepaalde duur, op managerial level. Soms werken op zaterdag is geen probleem in ruil voor een vrije dag in de week.
• Een open informele sfeer waar ruimte is voor eigen initiatief en input.
